Incumbents paired under court's redistricting plan

Highlights of a five-judge panel's redistricting plan, and officeholders who would face another incumbent if they ran for re-election, along with their new districts:

•18 incumbents in Senate districts with more than one sitting legislator
•Nine Senate districts with no incumbent
•Four Senate districts with incumbents of more than one party
•Two Senate districts with paired Democrats
•Three Senate districts with paired Republicans
•34 incumbents in House districts with more than one sitting legislator
•17 House districts with no incumbent
•Seven House districts with incumbents of more than one party
•Five House districts with paired Democrats
•Five House districts with paired Republicans

U.S. REPRESENTATIVES
•Rep. Mark Kennedy, the Republican holder of the 2nd District seat, is redistricted into the 6th District with incumbent Bill Luther.
